Surgeons

Dr Claire Newton BVSc MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon

Claire joined the practice in 2004 and very quickly realised she was going to enjoy working at Phoenix. In fact she enjoyed it so much, that in 2007 she bought a major share in the practice!

Her interests are general medicine and dermatology (skin cases), she is also a keen surgeon.

Claire has a wonderful labradoodle dog, hens, a cat called Peggy - who was dumped at the surgery with a broken leg needing fixing - and a horse. She loves the surgery and all the pets and people she meets.

A new dog has been aquired called 'Sprocket' he is a mad sprocker and causing lots of upset in the household.

Dr Aneta Duszak DVM MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon

Aneta qualified in 2002 and has joined us from a busy practice in Croydon. She has been with Phoenix Vets for several years.

She has a great interest in feline medicine and has recently passed further examinations to gain an additional qualification of Cert GP Feline Medicine. This is a great benefit to our practice and our clients with cats.

Aneta also studied for her ophthalmolgy certificate whilst pregnant and during her maternity leave sat her exams, which she passed, of course. She now also holds a certificate in ophthalmolgy and is keen to examine any interesting eye cases.

Aneta has two cats, enjoys walking and cycling and has proved to be a great asset to our surgery. She is very friendly and has a lovely way with the pets and their owners too.

Aneta lives locally wth her husband, young son and her cats.

Dr Alice Seredynska MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon

Alice joins us in October 2016, after 2 years working on the Isle of Wight and several months working at an Emergency and Critical care centre.

She has a great love of cats and a passion for ultrasound.

Emily qualified in 2006 from Liverpool University and has been working in busy small animal practice.

She has a keen interest in ultrasound, and will help Aneta with this valuable diagnostic tool.

Emily has 2 older cats Oscar and Oli (pictured).

She has settled in well at the practice. And this March is taking time off for maternity leave ,with baby daughter expected in April.

We wish Emily and her husband best wishes, and look forward to welcoming her back next year.
